Apollo XP95 Ionization Smoke Detector uses low-level radioactive foil to detect fires by irradiating the air in the smoke chambers and causing a flow of current. If smoke flows into the chamber, the current flow is reduced, which triggers an alarm. Responds well to fast-burning and flaming fires designed for a variety of environments minimal impact of temperature, humidity, air pressure protected against electromagnetic interference over a wide frequency range.
