Eaton Memshield 3 RCBO is an outgoing device suitable for Memshield 3 3-phase distribution boards. The RCBO takes up 4 pole ways in a 3-phase distribution board, that is L1/L2/L3 and the 4th pole of the device fits over and is insulated from, the L phase position of the neighbour circuit. Therefore the neighbour circuit only has two phase circuits available for single phase circuit feeds or would need to be blanked OFF. Offering line-voltage independent tripping and fully compatible with the standard busbar system used in Memshield 3 boards, the RCBO provides overcurrent protection for loads and offers earth-leakage trip sensitivities. To enhance user convenience and safety, Eaton’s new three-phase RCBO is fitted with two indicator flags, the first of which provides instant visual confirmation of whether the contacts are open or closed, while the second provides similar confirmation of the device’s trip status.
